Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients
1 pound chicken wings, (wings and flats)
Salt TT
Pepper TT
Garlic Powder 1/2 tsp
1 Tbs Canola Oil
1/2 cup Light Soy Sauce
1 tbs Sambal
1/4 cup Honey
2 each Scallions , sliced
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
Prepare a sheet tray with Parchment paper. Put the wings on the sheet tray and toss with salt, pepper, garlic powder and oil. Spread the wings out so they are not touching and place in the oven for 25-30 minutes flipping halfway between.
In the meantime place the soy sauce, honey and sambal in a small pot. Heat on the stove on Med/High until reduced by 1/2. Make sure to stir whisk the liquid as it will start to boil over if your do not. Remove from heat when reduced.
Once the wings are done turn the oven on broil. Toss the wings in half of the sauce and return to the sheet tray and broil for 2-3 min. Once the wings are out toss them in the remaining sauce. Garnish the wings with sliced scallions and sesame seeds.
